CHRISTIAN LEAGUE
Pomona Catholic 6, Loma Linda Academy 2
Shelby Reis went 2-for-2 with two RBI for the Lancers, who led 5-0 after three innings to remain undefeated in league with a 6-2 victory over Loma Linda Academy 6-2.
Starting pitcher Tori Sadlak went 2-for-2 for Pomona Cathloic (13-11, 6-0), allowed one earned run and struck out five with no walks.
Loma Linda fell to 10-6, 2-4.
Ontario Christian 7, Arrowhead Christian 6 (8)
Stephanie Obi’s walk-off double scored Kalonie Brooklier in the bottom of the eighth inning, giving the Knights (9-13, 4-2) the victory over the Eagles (8-12-1, 2-4).
Aquinas 9, Western Christian 0
Stevie Goldstein fanned a dozen batters and allowed just one single, never allowing a runner past first, as the Falcons (16-5, 4-2) blanked the Lancers (3-17, 0-6).
Liana Wetzel slammed a bases-loaded triple in the first and Goldstein added a two-run single in the second and a two-run homer in the fourth. Kaitlin Haynes also had two hits for the Falcons.
DE ANZA LEAGUE
Big Bear 23, Desert Hot Springs 0 (5)
The Bears (11-7, 8-0) pounded 16 hits on the road and were led by Kylie Reid and Sydnee Rawlins, who each had two hits and three runs batted in.
Brittany Holden finished the game with four RBI on two hits, including a triple.
SAN ANDREAS LEAGUE
Colton 8, Pacific 0
Eileen Garcia went 2-for-3 with two RBI and struck out 13 in a three-hit shutout to improve her record to 8-3 in the win against the Pirates (3-8 league).
Alicia Miller and Sarah Basquez each went 2-for-3 for the Yellowjackets (14-7, 9-2).
