COWGIRLS HOLD NOTHING BACK IN WIN
Breja'e Washington went 4-for-5 with a school-record seven RBI to lead the Cowgirls (17-6, 11-1) to a 24-1 victory over the Cardinals. YES! 24-1 for your eyes and viewing pleasure. Well not pleasurable if you are a Cardinal fan. Washington had two doubles and a triple en route to her big day, the biggest day of any Cowgirl that has ever touch the field.
Cajon had eight doubles against the Cardinals (2-16, 1-11) and scored 11 runs in the third inning.
ARROWHEAD LEAGUE
Upland Christian 14, La Sierra Academy 6
Kylie Edgemon had four hits and three RBI and Jackie Gavin had three hits and one RBI to lead the Eagles (16-7-1, 7-0). Destinee Duncan pitched a two-hitter, struck out seven and walked five for the Eagles. The Eagles play Cal Lu on Friday.
CHRISTIAN LEAGUE
Pomona Catholic 9, Arrowhead Christian 2
Sophomore Alex Alba went 3-for-3 with three RBI in the Pacers' (14-11, 7-0) victory over the Eagles.
Tori Sadlak earned the win in the circle, throwing 11 strikeouts with no earned runs and no walks for Pomona Catholic.
Aquinas 11, Loma Linda Academy 1
Stevie Goldstein went 2-for-3 with a three run homer <NO1>for the<NO>to lead the Falcons (17-6, 5-2) over the Roadrunners. Goldstein also recorded the win in the circle, with nine strikeouts and no earned runs for Aquinas, which held onto second place in the Christian League.
Ontario Christian 5, Western Christian 4
Alyssa Ramos scored on an error by the Western Christian third baseman with one out in the bottom of the seventh inning, lifting the Knights to the road victory.
Western Christian (3-19, 0-7) came close to getting its first league win against Ontario Christian (11-13, 5-2), which kept pace with Aquinas for second place. Stephanie Obi went 3-for-3 with an RBI for the Knights, who visit first-place Pomona Catholic at 3:30 p.m. Thursday.
DE ANZA LEAGUE
Big Bear 8, Desert Mirage 0
Junior Janae LaPierre threw a no-hitter with 18 strikeouts also adding a two run homer to help her cause as the Bears defeated the Rams.
Sydnee Rollins went 2-for-4 with four RBI and a run scored for Big Bear (12-7, 9-0), which clinched at least a share of the De Anza League title.
Colton 8, Arroyo Valley 0
April Vasquez hit a three-run home run, her ninth of the season for the Yellowjackets (15-7, 10-2).
Clarissa Molina allowed three hits, striking out six and walking one.
Colton is at Arroyo Valley (3-9 in league) on Thursday at 3:15 p.m.
San Gorgonio 11, Pacific 0
San Gorgonio's Delia Saucedo pitched a no-hitter, her second of the season, striking out 11 and walking one.
Jaclyn Gomez had three hits and one RBI, Carissa Figueroa had two hits and three RBI and Melissa Thomas had two hits and one RBI for the Spartans (11-10, 7-4), who play at Pacific on Thursday.
