PIRATES' END SEASON  WITH WALKOFF

Junior David Kiriakos hit a walk-off, three-run homer in the bottom of the seventh inning with two outs for Pacific, which denied the Hawks second place in the San Andreas League and knocked the Hawks down to third place.
Chase Phillips drove in a run, hit two doubles and scored twicehad two runs, two doubles and an RBI for the Pirates, who ended their seasonThursday.
Despite the loss, Zach Sumpter drove in two RBI and scored once for Arroyo Valley (18-8, 9-6), which clinched a playoff berth for the first time in the seven-year school history. The CIF Division III playoffs pairings come out on Monday.

ARROWHEAD LEAGUE
Upland Christian 13, Sherman Indian 0
Matt Proulx and Richie Postor each drove in two runs for the Arrowhead League champion Eagles (15-10, 12-0) over the Braves.
Upland Christian will now await their CIF division VII pairings that will be posted Monday.

CHRISTIAN LEAGUE
Ontario Christian 9, Loma Linda 5
Junior Clay Kindred (5-1) pitched his second straight complete game, striking out 11 and scattering nine hits to lead the Knights (17-10, 8-4).
Bobby Nigg led the offense, going 3-for-4 with two runs scored. Scott Gutman added two hits with an RBI.
The highlight for the Roadrunners (5-18, 0-12) was a three-run home run by Parker Arnold in the fifth.

MIRAMONTE LEAGUE
Diamond Ranch 3, Charter Oak 1
Mike Vinnitsky had an RBI triple and scored once for the Panthers (13-11, 7-5) over the Chargers (12-11, 9-3) to clinch a playoff berth as the third place team in the Miramonte League.
Diamond Ranch will now await their CIF division IV pairings Monday.

MOJAVE RIVER LEAGUE
Sultana 6, Apple Valley 4
Robert Vindiola batted in three runs, two on a triple, as the Sultans (18-6, 9-3) won their first league championship in 13 years with the decision over the Sun Devils (3-18, 1-11).
Ryan Wolf added two RBI on two hits and Wade Hightower had two hits and one RBI for the winners, who gave Mike Miersh his sixth win of the year without a loss.

MT. BALDY LEAGUE
Montclair 4, Chaffey 3
Jeremy Weber went 2-for-3 with three RBI for Montclair, which led 3-0 after the first inning.
Drew Orantes went 2-for-3 with an RBI for the Cavaliers (9-16, 5-10).
Chaffey fell to 7-18 overall, 3-12 in league.

Garey 6, Colony 3
Senior Sammy Garcia went 2-for-3 with two RBI and junior Dino Mares had two RBI as the Vikings (12-3, 14-7-2) surged past the Titans.
Vincent Velasquez gave up three hits, struck out three and walked one. He gave up three runs but just one was earned. He got relief help from Raymond Parrilla who went the rest of the way and picked up the win.

SAN ANDREAS LEAGUE
Cajon 7, San Gorgonio 3
Justin Martinez had a two-run homer that broke a tie in the sixth inning sealing a Cajon victory over the second-place Spartans (18-7, 10-5).
Cajon completed the two-game sweep over the Spartans ensuring their back to back San Andreas league championship.
San Gorgonio finished second in the San Andreas League and the two teams will now await their CIF division III pairings that come out Monday.

SIERRA LEAGUE
Chino Hills 7, Chino 3
The Huskies (18-9, 10-5) won their fourth straight game and wrapped up the league championship by jumping out to a 7-0 lead over the Cowboys (14-12, 6-9).
Ryan Dunn had a two-run double for Chino Hills while Zach Collier and Jordan Gomez each had two hits. Taylor Jimenez and Danny Fernandez homered in the seventh inning for the Cowboys.


SIERRA LEAGUE
Damien 5, Glendora 1

The Spartans (17-8, 9-6) finished  second place with a win against the Tartans.
Junior Mark Garcia went the distance, giving up five hits and striking out three while walking two. He also went 2-for-3 at the plate.
Darren Dworak had two hits and Tony McClendon suppllied a two-run home run in the second. <NO1>Both are seniors.<NO>
