ARROWHEAD LEAGUE
Sherman Indian 18, Upland Christian 12
The Highlanders (18-8-1, 9-1) settled for a tie for first in league with the regular season finale loss to Sherman Indian (12-8, 6-1).
Destinee Duncan finished 3-for-4 with 4 RBI including a double and a home run for Upland Christian while Amanda Angel and Bri Remlinger each hit 2-for-4.
CHRISTIAN LEAGUE
Aquinas 3, Pomona Catholic 1
Stevie Goldstein struck out eight and allowed two hits and no earned runs as the Falcons (18-7, 6-4) defeated the first-place Pacers.
Catelyn Ogle drove in a run for third-place Aquinas.
Both teams wait their opponents in the CIF division IV playoffs.
MOJAVE RIVER LEAGUE
Rim of the World 2, Hesperia 1
Erica Prentice homered and concluded the regular season with a perfect 18-0 pitching record, a first for the Fighting Scots (19-1, 12-0) in their win over the second-place Scorpions (15-9, 7-5).
Prentice struck out nine in the victory for the Mojave River league champions.
Rim of the World ended the regular season with a undefeated league record for the first time in school history and now await their CIF division V pairings this Sunday.
MT. BALDY LEAGUE
Montclair 4, Chaffey 3
Montclair knocked Chaffey into second place with an upset on the final day of the regular season.
Liz Castaneda went 3-for-3 with two RBI for the Cavaliers (9-18, 5-10) and Zolie Velasquez hit a two-run home run to give Montclair a 4-1 lead in the fifth inning.
Chaffey fell to 12-3 in league and behind first-place Don Lugo.
SAN ANDREAS LEAGUE
Arroyo Valley 5, Pacific 1
Chelsea Parker doubled in two runs in the third inning as the Hawks (6-16, 5-9) clinched fourth with the season-ending win over the Pirates (5-16, 3-11).
Ardrena Boykins had two doubles and Angelica Diaz doubled in support of Sammi Peters, who scattered three singles.
Colton 17, San Bernardino 0 (5)
Krystal Lucero went 2-for-3 with six RBI, including a grand slam in Colton's rout.
Clarissa Molina went 3-for-3 with three RBI for Colton (18-7, 13-2) and Eileen Garcia (10-3) struck out 10 in the five-inning game.
Cajon 16, San Gorgonio 0 (5)
Catcher Lindsey Kent had doubles in her first three at-bats and drove in eight runs to lead the Cowgirls (20-6, 14-1) to the season-ending rout.
Alex Mitchell scored four runs and drove in two, giving her Cajon's single-season RBI record with 42. The Spartans (11-12, 9-6) will await their playoff opponent, as will Cajon.
SIERRA LEAGUE
Ayala 2, Diamond Bar 1
Stephanie Martinez tripled in two runs in the fourth and Jessica Hall (19-9-1) made it stand as the Bulldogs (19-10-1, 7-3) edged the Brahmas ((10-15-1, 2-8).
Losing pitcher Erica Miller doubled in the lone run for Diamond Bar.<NO><NO1>
NONLEAGUE
Big Bear 17, Citrus Hill 9 (5)
Winning pitcher Janae LaPierre slammed a pair of homers and had five RBI and Megan Westover hit a grand slam as the Bears (16-7) prepared for the playoffs in a shorten game against the Hawks.
Syndree Rawlings had two hits and two RBI for Big Bear, which had eight extra base hits among its total of 17.
