REV WINS IN SHUTOUT

Division II No. 1 seed Redlands East Valley defeated Redondo 4-0 in a first-round game Friday.
REV had a pair of two-run rallies, keyed around a triple. Eric Boeger tripled home Josh Salmon in the second and scored in Chatwood's single. In the sixth, Eric Young tripled in David Andriese and scored on Ryan Burcroff.
Chatwood needed just 71 pitches in his gem, walking two and hitting a batter.

Chino Hills 6, San Luis Obispo 3
The Huskies (19-9) scored three runs in the sixth inning to break a tie, taking advantage of two of three errors by the Tigers (21-6).
Chris Carlson hit a sacrifice fly to wrapup the scoring. In the third inning, Garrett Eichmann, Ray Romero and Zach Collier each batted in runs in support of winning pitcher JohnMontoya.
Collier, Romero, Matt Lowenstein and Jordan Gomez each had two safeties in the Huskies' 17-hit attack.

Alta Loma 3, Camarillo 2
Senior Colby Gurney pitched a complete game, scattering eight hits and striking out three as the Braves (19-6) edged Camarillo.
The Braves scored lone runs in the first, second and third innings and made it hold up for the win.
Brad Fraily led the offense, going 2-for-2 with a double and an RBI.

DIVISION IV
Diamond Ranch 3, Santa Monica 2
Derek Goodwin's RBI single tied the game at two, then it was Jericho Kelsey's RBI that won the game in the seventh inning for the Panthers (14-11).
Kelsey's double scored Kyle Lenguel for Diamond Ranch. This marks the first ever playoff victory for the Panthers in their second post season apperance.
