REV ADVANCES TO QUARTERFINALS FOR FIRST TIME IN SCHOOL HISTORY

 

Matt Andriese struck out six and only allowed four hits in Redlands East Valley's 8-1 win over Temecula Valley in a CIF-SS Division II second round baseball game.
Ryan Boeger went 2-for-3 with two RBI for REV (24-3, 12-2), which advanced to the quarterfinals for the first time in school history.
Redlands East Valley will play host to Oxnard at 3:15 p.m. Friday

Upland 9, Katella 4
Scott Frazier provided key hits in his first two at bats to give Upland a big lead early. His double in the first scored a run and his triple in the third cleared the bases. Upland led 9-0 in the third inning.
The Highlanders (20-6) will travel to Palos Verde on Friday for a quarterfinal matchup.

Oxnard 6, Chino Hills 2
Ray Romero had two hits, but the Huskies were held to seven total hits and couldn't get by Oxnard. Chris Sulcer had a double for the Huskies (19-10).

Chino Hills was held to seven hits.


DIVISION VI
Bloomington Christian 3, Windward 2
Eddie Matos of Bloomington Christian (17-6) drove in the go ahead run in the fifth to break a 1-1 tie<NO1>deadlock<NO>. Matos pitched the final three innings to preserve the win.
Bloomington Christian will play again Friday.

Big Bear 11, Pasadena Poly 3
Jesse Ceron pitched a complete game, only giving up one earned run in the Bears' (20-4) victory.

UPLAND CHRISTIAN STORMS THROUGH

Upland Christian 18, North County Christian 1
Ethan Chapman went 4-for-4 with five RBI, including a homer and two doubles as the Eagles (17-2) cruised past the Crusaders in a second-round game.
Matt Proulx went 3-for-5 with four RBI and struck out seven in recording the win on the mound, making him 9-2 overall.

Your info is wrong on the Big Bear-Poly game. Big Bear is 15-10, not 20-4. Poly is 20-4 after losing to Big Bear 11-3.
