DIVISION VI

ONTARIO — Twice, Ontario Christian answered goals by Calabasas Viewpoint in dramatic fashion.
But in sudden-death overtime, you don’t get a chance to answer.
Harley Joffe scored her second goal of the game, just over four minutes into the second overtime, lifting Viewpoint past Ontario Christian 3-2 in a CIF-SS Division VI girls soccer quarterfinal game on Friday evening at windy and chilly Ontario Christian High School.
“It’s frustrating to lose like that, because in the second half, we felt like we were the better team,” Ontario Christian coach Dave Belden said.
Fourth-seeded Ontario Christian (17-9-3) showed a flair for the dramatic late in regulation, trailing 1-0.
Any shot was a good shot in the waning moments down by a goal, and Taylor Libolt’s left-footer from about 20 yards out looked desperate.
But her shot arced over the Viewpoint defense and then over goalie Kelsey Kaplan, tying the score 1-1 in the 80th minute.
The tie didn’t last long, because Viewpoint regained the lead on Joffe’s first goal, less than a minute into the first non-sudden death overtime.
Once again, the Knights had to answer. In the 94th minute, they did. Sarah Huizenga took a long hard shot from the edge of the box., Iit ricocheted around, eventually bouncing off of Cassie Todd and into the goal, tying the score again 2-2.
Viewpoint’s speed finally did in the Knights in the second overtime.
That’s when Joffe got behind the Ontario Christian defense, drew out goalie Emily Lloyd, then fired a low, hard shot that beatd Lloyd for the game-winner.
“We go out and try and score a lot of goals, and two of their three goals were off of counter-attacks,” Belden said.
The end of the season is always difficult, but a sudden-death loss is evenreally tougher.
“It’s really bittersweet,” Belden said. “We fought so hard to battle back.”
DIVISION IV
Serrano 3, Paloma Valley 0
Senior forward Kauren Tarver scored the final two goals and freshman goalie Sam Wilson earned her 20th shutout as the Diamondbacks (24-1-3) advanced to the semifinals for the second straight year with a win over the visiting Wildcats (15-6-1).
“It was another solid defensive effort,” said Coach Dave Molina after Serrano shut out its opponent for the third straight game. “We are definitely playing well at the right time and we are looking forward to Tuesday’s matchup against Granite Hills (19-5-2).”
The two teams faced each other in a nonleague contest earlier in December with Serrano winning 4-0.
Kellci Tessondorf scored the first goal for Serrano while Tarver, Katie Pound and Bianca Garcia added an assist each.
DIVISION IV

BLOOMINGTON — Things were rolling along for the Bloomington High School boys soccer team going into Thursday’s CIF-SS Division IV quarterfinal against Santa Monica, as the Bruins had won six consecutive games.
That roll was killed at Bloomington by a team that Bruins coach Sam Gallo described simply as “the big rhinoceros”, as Santa Monica remained undefeated with a 7-0 victory.
The Vikings (24-0-1) opened up the game in a six-minute span toward the middle of the first half, scoring four goals in six minutes. They added a fifth right before halftime, sealing off any chance of a titanic Bloomington comeback.
“There are Division I college teams that don’t finish off as well as those guys do,” Gallo said. “Usually in high school soccer, especially at Division IV level, a team might have one guy who can finish, two if they are lucky. They have six.
“It was just too much to deal with. They are like a Joe Namath — they are cocky but back it up.”
Bloomington is used to making comebacks, as it overcame a 1-4-1 start in the Sunkist League with four straight wins to qualify for the playoffs, where it won its first two games.
But the Bruins (12-11-3) couldn’t deal with the haymakers that Santa Monica dealt between the 18th and 24th minutes. The Vikings barrage started on a penalty kick goal by Charlie Paris after Eduardo Delgado was fouled in the penalty box by Byron Medina.
That opened up the floodgates, with Alessandro Canale scoring two minutes later, Orhan Basak knocking one in two minutes after that and Delgado scoring two minutes after Basak’s goal.
“I think we got down after that penalty kick and got a little lax,” Gallo said. “We were a little intimidated and scared and they took advantage.”
Ricardo Martinez notched Santa Monica’s fifth goal right before the end of the first half, with Paris and Canale each adding their second goal in the final<NO1>second<NO> half.
“We knew we had to come in here early and take control,” Santa Monica coach James Chapman said. “They came in hot and were at home, so we wanted to come in and jump on them quick. We were aggressive and finished remarkably well.”
Kaiser 3, Oxnard Pacifica 2 (2OT)
Irving Alcantar curved a free kick around the wall and under the goalkeeper, scoring in the 119th minute in sudden death to lift the Cats to a quarterfinal victory against host Pacifica.
Kaiser, who received an at-large bid to qualify for playoffs, will host Jurupa Valley in Tuesday’s semifinal.
The teams battled to a 1-1 tie through regulation with Marco Martinez scoring for Kaiser. Pacifica (16-4-1) managed to score in the second overtime but Irving Arteaga answered for the Cats (18-7-3) with no time remaining, setting up Alcantar’s game-winner.
Ulysses Berrios had 10 saves in the victory.
DIVISION V
Hesperia 1, La Puente 0 (2OT)
Just four minutes before the game was headed to penalty kicks, Hesperia’s Wualfre Gomez scored the game-winner in the second overtime, converting a corner kick from Mario Cisneros in the 117th minute to give the Scorpions the victory.
The Scorpions (17-2-11) advance to Tuesday’s semifinal, where they will face Mountain View (20-4-5), a 2-1 winner over La Canada, at a site to be determined.
DIVISION VI
Arrowhead Christian 3, San Juan Capistrano St. Margaret’s 2
The Eagles (22-0-3) advanced to the semifinals for the first time in school history, defeating the Tartans on their home field.
Charles Izydorek scored a pair of goals for ACA off assists from T.J. Pearce and Alan Supernaw. The Eagles host Desert Hot Springs Tuesday at 3:15 p.m.
ACA’s Mitch Wiseman had eight saves.
DIVISION I[
Buena 3, Los Osos 0
The Grizzlies had a 20-3 advantage in shots and bounced three off the crossbar but couldn’t find the net and were shut out by host Buena of Ventura in second round play.
Walnut 3, Redlands 2 (4OT)
The Terriers led 2-1 but gave up the tying goal with three minutes left in regulation and went on to lose to the Mustangs 3-2 in four overtimes.
Neither team scored in the first of two 10 minute overtimes. Walnut finally got a score seven minutes into the second 10-minute sudden death.
Casey Mendoza and Nina King had the goals in regulation for Redlands (15-5-4).
Redlands was without two starters. Senior midfielder Hannah Carroll injured a knee in the first round win over Chaffey and senior left defender Irene Ramos (knee) has been out a week.
DIVISION IV
Granite Hills 2, Lakewood St. Joseph 1
Louise Baartz and Shelby Sheldon each scored goal<NO1>had a pair of goals<NO> for the Cougars (18-5-2) in their second round victory over the Jesters.
Granite Hills advances to the quarterfinals Friday for the fourth consecutive year.
DIVISION VI
Ontario Christian 3 Sierra Madre Alverno 1
Kaitlin Mendoza, Jaclyn Bollena and Marisella Macias were all scorers as<NO1>the goals needed in<NO> the Knights (17-8-3) defeated Alverno at the Glendale sports complex. Ontario Christian advances to the quarterfinals Friday for the third straight year.
Arrowhead Christian 4, Bishop Union 0
For the third straight year, the Eagles (17-5-4) advance to the quarterfinals in Wednesday’s victory over the Broncos.
Kristina Gomez scored two goals and had an assist.
On Friday, ACA meets Murrieta Calvary Chapel, which knocked it out of the quarterfinals the last two years.
DIVISION IV
Bloomington 2, Baldwin Park 1 (OT)
Bryan Mejia headed in the game-winning goal off an Albert Guzman free kick near the end of the first overtime to lift the Bloomington boys soccer team to a 2-1 win over Baldwin Park (11-7-1) on Tuesday in the CIF-SS Division IV playoffs.
With the victory, the Bruins (12-10-3), will make their first quarterfinal appearance in six years. Bloomington plays host to undefeated No. 1 seed Santa Monica at 5 p.m. Thursday.
Guzman also assisted Rey Blanco’s goal in the 25th minute<NO1> to help send the contest to a 1-1 tie at the half. Goalie Anthony Perez stopped five shots for Bloomington.
DIVISION VI
Arrowhead Christian 3, Linfield Christian 0
ACA senior Alan Supernaw scored two goals and added an assist as the Eagles defeated host Linfield Christian 3-0 to advance to Thursday’s CIF-SS Division VI quarterfinals against St. Margaret’s of San Juan Capistrano.
Senior TJ Pearce had a goal and an assist for Arrowhead (21-0-3).
The Tartans (13-8-1), 2-0 winners over St. Paul Tuesday, lost to the Eagles 5-1 on Dec. 27. The site of Thursday’s matchup yet to be determined.
DIVISION I
Ayala 1, Upland 0
Analisa Rodriguez scored in the opening five minutes off a Brittany Dobbs cross to lift the Bulldogs (14-4-3) into the second round with a home victory over the Highlanders.
Ayala goalie Alicen Wright recorded six saves for her 14th shutout of the year.
Upland goalkeeper Savanah Thompson had seven saves.
Ayala will face Esperanza on Wednesday in the second round.
Los Osos 2, Edison 1
Haylee Eguchi scored both goals, including the game-winning goal in the 71st minute, to lift the Grizzlies (17-4-5) past visiting Edison.
Both goals came off of Paige Silva throw-ins while Leau Labonta and Kylie Nicassio had an assist each.
DIVISION II
Yucaipa 2, Irvine 1 (OT)
Kellie Bohner scored on a Hailey Lopez direct kick that deflected off the goalkeeper with seven minutes remaining in overtime to give host Yucaipa (23-1-3), the No. 1 seed, a first-round win.
Bohner opened the scoring with a goal off a Lindsay Cano corner kick three minutes into the second half.
<NO1>Irvine equalized in the 58th minute, when Vivien Cook headed in a direct kick from Carly McLaughlin.
<NO>Jessica White had 14 saves in goal for Yucaipa.
The Thunderbirds play Agoura in the second round.
Redlands 3, Chaffey 2 (OT)
Jamie Crow scored in overtime for the Terriers in a win over the host Tigers (19-3-2).
Crow also scored in the first half after Chaffey’s Jackie Waldman to tie the game at 1-1.
Casey Mendoza tied the game at the end of regulation for Redlands (15-4-3). Mendoza also had the assist to Crow in overtime.
Chaffey’s Elisa Lopez had seven saves.
Redlands now awaits their second-round opponent Wednesday.
DIVISION III
La Mirada 2, Norco 0
In a rematch of last year’s second-round game, Norco again traveled to La Mirada on Saturday with similar results. Last year the Matadores beat Norco 1-0. The teams kept the game scoreless until La Mirada’s Natalia Ledezma shot a free kick from 25 yards out and drilled it past senior keeper Shawnda Federickson, who tallied eight saves on the day.
DIVISION IV
Kaiser 3, South Pasadena 0
Tiffany Pena had two goals to lead the Cats (17-4-4) to the win.
Bianca Velasco only had to make three saves to preserve the shutout.
Gabby Alvarado scored a goal to break a scoreless tie in the first half for Kaiser, which will play Serrano on Wednesday.
Granite Hills 5, Jurupa Valley 0
Louise Baartz netted three goals and Emily Ochoa added two as the Cougars (17-5-2) shut out the visiting Jackrabbits.
Granite Hills outshot Jurupa Valley 24-1 and led 3-0 at the half.
DIVISION VI
Arrowhead Christian 1, Baldwin Park Sierra Vista 0
Kristina Gomez scored off a cross from sister Erika Gomez in the 22nd minute to lead ACA (16-5-4) over host Sierra Vista (16-6).
Naomi Sornoso made three saves but was rarely tested in the second half.
ACA plays the winner of New Community Jewish and Bishop Union at 3 p.m. Wednesday.
Ontario Christian 3, Woodcrest Christian 1
The defending Division VI CIF champion Knights had three differnt players score in their rout over Western Christian. Kaitllyn Mendoza, Marisella Macias, and Taylor Libolt all had a goal for Ontario Christian (16-8-3) which now awaits their second-round opponent Wednesday.
Macias and Mendoza also assisted each other.
DIVISION I
Nathan Acosta scored the game-winning goal with four minutes left to lift the Los Osos boys soccer team past Dana Hills 1-0 on Friday in a Division I first-round game.
The Grizzlies (13-8-4) will play the winner of Friday’s first-round game between Long Beach Millikan and Simi Valley Royal.
Chino Hills 1, Harvard-Westlake 0
Jesus Gonzalez scored the only goal, in the second half on an assist from Kareen Morad. Brandon Zanboris had three saves.
Chino Hills (24-1-3) plays the winner of Bell Gardens and Los Alamitos on Tuesday at 3 p.m.
DIVISION II
Garey 2, Temecula Valley 0
Victor Cervantes scored two second-half goals to lead the host Vikings (15-4-4) to the first-round victory over the Bears. Garey will play the winner of Friday’s Miller-Riverside Poly game in the second round.
DIVISION IV
Bloomington 4, Hemet West Valley 1
The Bruins (11-10-3) scored three unanswered goals after being a man down 10 minutes into the game to upset the host Mustangs.
Bloomington starting goalkeeper David Hernandez was red-carded at the beginning of the game, leaving the match tied at 1-1 apiece as West Valley scored on the ensuing penalty kick.
However, Alex Guzman netted two goals and his brother Albert Guzman added another to lift Bloomington into the next round.
DIVISION V
Arroyo Valley 2, Granite Hills 0
Jorge Guzman and Emilio Flores scored a goal each in the first half to lift the Hawks (12-8-3) to the school’s first postseason win in its history with a home victory over the Cougars.
Arroyo Valley keeper Miguel Valenzuela had two saves in the shutout while Magdaleno Isiordia added an assist.
Granite Hills goalkeeper Alejandro Franco had three saves.
Colton 2, City of Industry Workman 0
Ryan Rich and Nicholas Mulato each scored for the visiting Yellowjackets (11-13-3) in their first-round victory. Colton will play the winner of Friday’s first-round game between Los Angeles Salesian and Fillmore.
DIVISION VI
Arrowhead Christian 4, New Roads 0
T.J. Pearce scored three goals and Alan Supernaw added another as the Eagles defeated wild-card winner New Roads.
Supernaw assisted on two of the goals while Mitch Wiseman recorded four saves in the shutout for ACA, which outshot New Roads 12-6.
CHAFFEY 1, ONTARIO 0
Chaffey 1, Ontario 0
Junior Alejandro Martinez scored off a Ulises Gomez in the 25th minute to lift the Tigers (11-11, 6-5) into the playoffs with the victory over the Jaguars (5-6 MBL).
Both teams were tied with the same league record and had to play a one-game playoff with the winner advincing to the playoffs.
Jesus Estrada recorded four saves in the shutout win for Chaffey.
CHRISTIAN LEAGUE
Arrowhead Christian 0, Ontario Christian 0, tie
The Knights (15-8-3, 7-1-2) captured the league title in drawing with the Eagles (15-5-4, 7-2-1).
Ontario Christian came into the game needing only a tie to capture the number one seed in league while Arrowhead Christian looked to avenge a 3-2 first-round loss.
Both Knight goalie Emily Lloyd and Eagle keeper Naomi Sornoso saved five shots with each team having nine shots.
Pomona Catholic 5, Aquinas 0
Karissa Pascual had two goals and an assist and Kasey Rivera had two goals to lead Pomona Catholic (5-17, 2-8) to the win over Aquinas (1-9 in league) in the final game for both teams.
CITRUS BELT LEAGUE
Redlands 3, Redlands East Valley 2
The Terriers’ (14-4-3, 11-2-1) held on to the victory after scoring all their goals in the first half in defeating the Wildcats (15-6-3, 10-2-2) and securing second place in league.
Hannah Carroll scored two goals, Jaime Crow added another while Cassie Mendoza and Meredith Robie had assists for Redlands.
REV’s goals were from Kaitlin Stencil and Megan Ollar.
Yucaipa 3, Carter 0
The Thunderbirds (22-1-3, 13-0-1) ended the regular season with a shutput over the Lions (3-10-1, 10-13-3) as the outright Citrus Belt league champions.
UC Riverside bound Jessica White had nine saves setting the all-time Yucaipa saves record for most saves in a season. Kellie Bohner scored two goals for Yucaipa, which now await their seeding in the CIF Division II playoffs.
CHRISTIAN LEAGUE
Arrowhead Christian 3, Ontario Christian 0
T.J. Pierce had a goal and an assist to lead the Eagles (19-0-3, 7-0-1) to an undefeated regular season. Alan Supernaw and Charles Izydorek also scored for Ontario Christian.
Frank Torres had 10 saves for the Knights (16-7-1, 4-3-1).
MOUNTAIN VIEW LEAGUE
NORCO 1, CORONA CENTENNIAL 1, TIE
The Cougars’ Oliver Lopez and the Huskies’ Diego Mora both scored in the first half as Norco (8-9-6, 3-2-3) locked up the league’s second playoff seed in the regular-season finale for both teams.
Centennial (3-2-3 in league) settled for the third seed because Norco won the teams’ first meeting 4-0.
SAN ANDREAS LEAGUE
COLTON 3, SAN BERNARDINO 0
Kenneth Patterson had a pair of goals in the season finale victory for the Yellowjackets over the Cardinals.

<MC>Fabian Carbajal and Stewart Thur scored for the Hawks (11-8-3, 6-2-2) over the Pirates to clinch their first San Andreas League title in school history under coach Hector Carrillo, who has been there since the school’s opening in 2001.
Arroyo Valley now awaits their CIF Division V playoff seeding Sunday.
SUNKIST LEAGUE
Bloomington 1, Jurupa Valley 0
Richard Marquez scored the game’s only goal in the 38th minute, as the Bruins (10-10-3, 5-4-1) clinched a playoff spot by dealing the Jaguars (17-2-3, 6-2-2) only their second defeat of the game.
By getting the must-win victory, Bloomington clinched third place in the Sunkist League and will find out its first-round matchup in the Division IV playoffs Sunday.
SAN ANDREAS LEAGUE
COLTON 1, SAN BERNARDINO 0
Lorissa Sanchez scored the only goal the San Andreas League champion Yellowjackets would need over the visiting Cardinals.
SUNKIST LEAGUE
Kaiser 6, Riverside Norte Vista 1
Tiffany Pena scored three goals for the Cats (16-4-4, 7-0-3), who clinched back-to-back Sunkist League title in the victory over the Braves.
Kaiser now awaits their CIF Division IV playoff seed Sunday.
BASELINE LEAGUE
Dana Sanderlin had a pair of goals to go along with her one assist in the Highlanders (15-2-5, 8-1-1) victory over the Eagles (11-11-1 overall.)
With the win, Upland is the second place seed in the Baseline League and now awaits their season in the playoffs.
Los Osos 2, Claremont 1
Marlena Massagli’s goal in the 78th minute broke a 1-1 tie and clinched an outright league championship for the Grizzlies (16-4-5, 9-0-1).
Kylee Nicassio also scored for Los Osos, which outshot Claremont 10-2.
CITRUS BELT LEAGUE
Carter 1, Fontana 0
Ni’rysie Castillo scored a second-half goal to lead the Lions (10-12-3, 3-9-1) past the Steelers (7-13-3, 2-10-1). Carter keeper Michelle Garcia and Fohi counterpart Yesenuia Najera each had four saves.
Redlands East Valley 5, Miller 0
Haylee Ellis notched a hat trick for the host Wildcats (15-5-3, 10-1-2), keeping them in second place in the CBL. Kelsey Gudgeon had a goal and an assist as well for REV.
Amanda Villarreal had eight saves for the Rebels (7-9-2, 5-7-1).
Yucaipa 7, Eisenhower 0
Jessica White scored three goals and recorded four saves and Renee Lane added two as the Thunderbirds (21-1-3, 12-0-1) clinched the league title with a road victory over the Eagles (0-13 CBL).
White also tied the school record for most saves in a season at 163 and looks to break the mark on Friday as Yucaipa hosts Carter at 3:15 p.m.
MT. BALDY LEAGUE
Chaffey 4, Montclair 1
The Mt. Baldy League champion Tigers (19-2-3, 9-0-1) confirmed their title reign in their defeat over the Cavaliers. The last time Chaffey won a league title was in 1991.
Elisa Lopez had three saves and Araceli Mota had a goal and an assist for Chaffey, who now await their CIF Division II playoff seeding on Sunday.
MT. BALDY LEAGUE
Ontario 3, Don Lugo 2
Ramiro Estrella scored the game-winning goal in the 70th minute, giving the visiting Jaguars (6-8, 5-5) the victory. Santiago Solis scored Ontario’s other two goals.
Tyler Prado scored both Don Lugo goals, leading the Conquistadores (5-13-2, 2-7-1) back from a 2-0 halftime deficit.
The Jaguars’ victory, combined with Chaffey’s 2-1 loss to Montclair on Wednesday, sets up a one-game playoff for third place in the league. Ontario will host Chaffey at 3 p.m. Friday, with the winner assured a CIF-SS playoff berth.
Garey 5, Colony 0
Arturo Gallegos scored twice for league-champion Garey (14-4-4, 9-1), which scored all its goals before halftime.
Ivan Casteneda and Jesse Contreras also scored for Garey.
BASELINE LEAGUE
Alta Loma 1, Rancho Cucamonga 0
Larry Llamas’ first-half goal was all the Braves needed for the win, which clinched no worse than third in the league standings.
T.J. Shaffer notched a three-save shutout for Alta Loma (11-10-2 overall, 6-3-1 Baseline League) and Kyle Mandala had four saves for the Cougars (8-16-2, 2-6-1).
Los Osos 2, Claremont 1
Jaime Garcia scored a goal and had an assist for the Grizzlies over the visiting Wolfpack.
Kyu Hwang had the lone goal for Claremont.
CITRUS BELT LEAGUE
Fontana 9, Carter 2
The Steelers (12-6-5, 8-1-4) won their first C.B.L league title in 15 years with a blowout win over the visiting Lions (6-16-2, 4-9). Antonio Salazar scored three goals, follwed by Lalo Equihua with two for Fontana who now await their seeding in the playoffs in which they will host their first game.
SIERRA LEAGUE
Chino 4, Ayala 3
The Cowboys (13-10-4, 6-3-1) finished the regular season with a second-place berth defeating the Bulldgos (4-1-1).
Donald Richards scored a goal and had an assist for Chino.
Chino Hills 3, Damien 0
The Bulldogs closed out an undefeated league season on their home field with a two-goal game from Ryan Dos Santos against the Spartans (5-5-0 in league).
Kareem Morad scored the other goal for Chino Hills (8-0-2) and Brandon Van Voorhis notched the two-save shutout.

CHRISTIAN LEAGUE
Arrowhead Christian Academy 4, Loma Linda Academy 0
Alan Supernaw had two goals and two assists and T.J. Pearce had a goal and an assist to lift the Eagles (18-0-3, 6-0-1) past the Roadrunners, clinching the league title. ACA hosts Ontario Christian on Thursday at 3:15 p.m.
MOUNTAIN VIEW LEAGUE
Corona 3, Norco 2
Jose Cosajy snapped a 1-1 tie early in the second half and added an insurance goal late in the second half and the Panthers (16-2-1) clinched the league title with a victory over the Cougars (8-9-5, 3-2-2). Norco, which got goals from Oliver Lopez and Essa Bahu, hosts Corona Centennial on Thursday at 7 p.m. for second place in the league.
CHRISITNAN LEAGUE
Arrowhead Christian 8, Loma Linda Academy 1
The Eagles (16-5-3, 8-1) had a scoring frenzy over the Roadrunners. Kristina Gomez scored three from an assist from Christine Lopez who also scored once.
Arrowhead Christian plays host to Ontario Christian Friday at 3:15 p.m. for the Christian League championship.
MT. BALDY LEAGUE
Montclair 2, Garey 1
SAN ANDREAS LEAGUE
Cajon 1, San Bernardino 0
Angela Young scored on a breakaway in the 31st minute, and the Cowgirls (9-9-3, 6-2-1) held on to beat the Cardinals (2-14-1, 1-7-1).
Colton 1, Arroyo Valley 1
Martha Zamora scored the game-tying goal in the last five minutes of the game, giving the host Yellowjackets (16-4-3, 6-0-3) a tie and keeping them atop the San Andreas League.
The Hawks (2-12-6, 2-4-3) scored early in the second half to take the lead.
San Gorgonio 4, Pacific 1
Courtney Bakas and Taylor Kinchereon each scored a pair of goals as the Spartans (7-11-5, 6-1-2) set up a key game Thursday against Cajon.

Travis Berryman scored on a penalty kick in the 51st minute to give ACA (17-0-3, 5-0-1) the victory.
Charles Icydorek scored in the first half for ACA on an assist from Alan Supernaw.
Kyle Albenesius scored on a penalty kick in the first half for Aquinas.
PREP LEAGUE
Webb 2, La Canada Flintridge Prep 1
Jeff Crype and Jonathan Frisby each had a goal to lead Webb (9-2-1, 4-1) to the victory which clinched its first league title in more than a decade.
BASELINE LEAGUE
Alta Loma 2, Etiwanda 0
Travis Coons and Larry Llamas scored second-half goals as the Braves (10-9-2, 5-2-1) defeated the Eagles (1-7 Baseline).
T.J. Shaffer had one save to earn the shutout for Alta Loma, which outshot Etiwanda 12-2.
Etiwanda’s goalie Andrew Lee had nine saves.
MT. BALDY LEAGUE
Garey 3, Don Lugo 2
Arturo Gallegos scored a season-high three goals to lead the Vikings (12-4-4, 7-1) past the visiting Conquistadors (5-11-2, 2-5-1) to split the season series.
Don Lugo, which is the only team to put up two goals against Garey, was led by Rafael Luna and Juan Ortiz, who scored a goal apiece.
SIERRA LEAGUE
Chino 3, Glendora 1
Arturo Garcia had a goal and an assist to lead Chino (11-10-4, 4-3-1) to the win over Glendora (7-15, 0-8).
Jordan Santoyo and Jared Taylor had the other goals for the Cowboys.
Chino Hills 2, Ayala 1
Tyler Borrello scored the game-winning goal off a Kareem Morad assist as the Huskies (22-1-3, 6-0-3) defeated the visiting Bulldogs (9-8-6, 3-3-1).
Ryan Dos Santos opened the scoring for Chino Hills while Ayala’s Kevin Tolman netted their lone goal.
SUNKIST LEAGUE
Bloomington 2, Summit 1
Albert Guzman scored and had an assist to Cesar Brambila for the Bruins (8-10-3, 3-4-1) over the Skyhawks (2-10-2, 0-7-1).

Kelly Dollard and Briana Roman each scored a goal and Jalissa Kluz had two assists for the Cougars (6-11-4, 2-6).
CITRUS BELT LEAGUE

Kelsey Gudgon and Haylee Ellis scored two goals apiece as the Wildcats (9-1-2 CBL) defeated the host Lions.
REV goalies Brittany Winnegar and Erin Salazar combined for the six-save shutout.

Ana Gonzales and Yessena Ortega scored for the Cavaliers (7-7-9, 4-3-1) in their shutout victory over the Titans.
Goalkepper Katie Rice (seven saves) had her third consecutive shutout.
Chaffey 6, Ontario 0
Zaira Padilla scored two goals and had an assist for the Tigers (17-2-3, 7-0-1) over the winless in league Jaguars.
Ontario’s Jennifer Bates had 10 saves.
SIERRA LEAGUE
Chino 4, Glendora 3 (OT)
Natalie Vasquez scored a season-high three goals to lead the Cowgirls (9-11-2, 1-7) to their first league victory with a win over Glendora.
Gina Gonzalez rounded out the scoring for Chino, who came back from a 3-2 deficit.
Chino Hills 2, Ayala 1 (OT)
Nathalie Ramirez off a free kick from Allie Montes in the first minutes of overtime to lift the Huskies (15-4-3, 7-1) past the Bulldogs (5-2-1 Sierra) to avenge their only league loss.
Alexis Bowman evened the score for Chino Hills after Ayala’s Kylie Doniak scored on a penalty kick.
SUNKIST LEAGUE
Kaiser 1, Jurupa Valley 1
The Cats’ Brittney Yip and the Jaguars’ Candice Rankin scored second-half goals in the tie. Bianca Belasco had six saves for Kaiser (15-4-3, 6-0-2), which will play Patriot on Tuesday for first place.
Stephanie Husted had eight saves for Jurupa Valley (9-7-6, 3-2-3).
