With a collective overall effort the Huskies managed to pull away from the Falcons in their first game of the season.
Stringing together seven hits, South Hills was supported by Adrian DeHorta’s four pitched innings while Ty France came in the fifth inning to capture the save.
Crescenta Valley committed three errors but Kevin Murray kept them in the game with five strikeouts.
