GIRLS SOCCER: CIF-SS-PLAYOFFS-DIVISION 6-SEMIFINALS: ST. MARGARET’S 1, BONITA 0

For the second year in a row the San Dimas girls soccer team’s post season run has come to an end at the hands of the St. Margaret’s Tartans.
The stakes weren’t as high as last year with St. Margaret’s defeating San Dimas for the CIF title.
The Tartans will get the chance to defend their championship, as they defeated second-seeded San Dimas in the CIF–Southern Section Division 6 semifinals, 1-0, at Bonita high Tuesday night.
St. Margaret’s (17-4-5) will play top-seeded Hemet in the championship next weekend. San Dimas (23-3-1) has an outside chance at qualifying for the Southern California Regionals according to the CIF office.
With the victory, the Tartans (17-4-5) extended their unbeaten streak to 16 games and their 11th consecutive game without allowing a goal.
