Eddie Fournier went five innings. Striking out six, had no walks to earn the win. He is now 2-1.
Contributing to the win Mark Sandinson had a bases loaded clearing triple. Colin Ashworth was two for three with two doubles and had two RBIs.
Whittier Christian is now at 8-15 overall and 1-7 in league.
Valley Christian now drops to 12-10 overall and 7-3 in league.

Nikki Oviedo (3-2) went the distance for the Lancers and recorded two strikeouts and allowed six hits.
La Serna (11-9, 4-2) got all the offense needed from Carley Espinoza going 2 for 3 with a double and a RBI as A.J. Carrasco chipped in going 3 for 4 with a RBI.
Dana De La Torre went 4 for 4 pounding out four basehits.
Trisha Trejo went the distance for the Condors scattering 14 hits and recording three strikeouts. Christina Pantages provided the lone run for California with a homerun in the fourth inning.
With the loss, California dropped to 3-3 in league play.
BASEBALL: MONTVIEW LEAGUE: DUARTE 7, GLADSTONE 3
Duarte (15-4, 7-2) got a solid pitching performance from Gus Banuelos (6-0) and got plenty of offense from Ayman Nureldeen going 2 for 3 with a double and a RBI. George Carlos also went 2 for 3.
Daniel Sandoval picked up his second save on the season.
The Falcons pulled off some trickery in the first inning with a double steal with Sergio Garcia stealing home.
With the loss Gladstone dropped to 9-6 and 5-4 in league play.
BASEBALL: MONTVIEW LEAGUE – LA PUENTE 9, BASSETT 1
Raymond Sedillo improved to 3-1 and went the distance recording six strikeouts and allowing four hits as the Warriors improved to 13-7 and 8-1 in league play. Ethan Etchebarren went 3 for 4 with a double and a triple and recorded three RBI’s. Sedillo chipped in by going 2 for 2 with a double and a triple while knocking in two runs. La Puente began the offensive onslaught with two runs in the third and six in the fourth inning and were never threatened after. With the loss Bassett dropped to 4-10 and 0-9 in league play.

Caitlyn Van Hemelryck went the distance to improve to 10-2 on the year while recording four strike outs and scattering two hits. Britney Rodriguez provided offense for the Huskies (15-7, 2-3) going 2 for 5 with a double and a homerun. Sabrina Perez went 2 for 3 with a double and a RBI and Sasha Allen went 3 for 4 scoring three runs and recording a RBI.
