The Bulldogs outscored the Rams 4-1 in the decisive third period to take a 9-6 lead into fourth period and held on for the win. Pasadena (1-0) was led in scoring by Marcus Gonzalez with five goals and Cooper Horn added two. Bulldogs goalie Nolan Berge stopped nine shots on goal while Adrian Rodriguez had eight stops for the Rams.
Temple City’s (0-1) Vinnie Sicat led the Rams in scoring with five goals.
