San Pedro running back Joseph Chavez scores from 10 yards out to tie the City Section Championship game at seven with 2:15 left in the first quarter. Birmingham scored first on a James Beloff 40-yard pass to Will Chandler on a slant.
Chandler went up and snagged the ball out of the air and raced down the middle of the field for the touchdown. He kind of looked like a vintage Randy Moss doing it.
