What's in a name

I finally had a chance to ask Canyon's J.J. DiLuigi about his name. His full name is John Paul DiLuigi III

But, since his dad, John Paul DiLuigi Jr. and grandfather, John Paul DiLuigi all live in the same house, people started calling him John John. The name morphed into JJ because ``my dad thought I'd get beat up too much if people called me John John.''
