Army All-American Bowl

Just a reminder: The Army All America Bowl is set for Saturday at 10 a.m. NBC will be televising live. Randy Rosenbloom will be doing radio on AM 600.

Oaks Christian's Jimmy Clausen, Marc Tyler and Marshall Jones were selected, although Tyler is still recovering from a broken left fibula and won't play. Clausen is expected to start at QB for the West Team. Matt Simms, the son of former Giants QB Phil Simms, is expected to start at QB for the East.

Eight players in the game have committed to USC, one has committed to UCLA.

The Southern California players are:
Clausen, Tyler, Jones, David Green, a kicker from Mission Viejo who has commited to Stanford, defensive lineman Brian Price from Crenshaw, linebacker Blaine Irby and defensive back Michael Williams of St. Bonaventure of Ventura, linebacker Chris Galippo from Servite of Anaheim ( a USC-commit), offensive tackle Martin Coleman from Edison of Huntington Beach and defensive back Donovan Warren of Long Beach Poly.
