Oaks Christian's Potter commits to Boise State

Chris Potter is the latest Oaks Christian High football player to commit to a Division I university, accepting a Boise State scholarship over offers from Colorado State, Montana and others.

A 5-foot-9 receiver who is slated to switch to quarterback for his senior season, Potter plans to return to receiver in college. This past season, Potter caught 49 passes, accounted for 13 touchdowns and totaled 1,602 all-purpose yards to help the Lions (15-0) to CIF State Div. I Bowl championship.

"I'm excited," Potter said. "I'm excited about Boise State, I'm excited about the coaching staff, and I'm excited about going out there."
