CSUN names associate athletic director

Tom Ford has been named Associate Athletic Director for External Relations at Cal State Northridge.

Ford’s appointment was announced on Tuesday by Matadors Athletic Director Rick Mazzuto.

“I am delighted that Tom has joined our athletics staff,” said Mazzuto. “He brings a level of experience and success which will reinvigorate the Department’s external relations/fund-raising program.”

Ford has served as athletic director at Houston (1984-86 and UC irvine (1990-92).
