HS FOOT: Hart defensive coordinator Herrington quits, joins Alemany staff!

Rick Herrington, Hart’s longtime defensive coordinator, has left one brother to join another. He has resigned Tuesday as Hart’s top assistant under 19-year coach Mike Herrington to join Alemany of Mission Hills coach Dean Herrington as Alemany’s new defensive coordinator.

“It’s great. Rick is one of the top defensive coordinators in the the CIF,” Dean said.
