Jrue Holiday up for EA Sports National P.O.T.Y.

Following a sensational 35-point performance in Campbell Hall of North Hollywood's 78-77 double-overtime loss to South Atlanta in Saturday's marquee game of the 14th annual Pangos Dream Classic at Pauley Pavilion, UCLA-bound guard Jrue Holiday is third in the latest EA Sports National Player of the Year tracker, appearing on nine of 10 ballots.
Louisville-bound Samardo Samuels of St. Benedict's, N.J., is the front-runner (also appearing on nine ballots), followed by Arizona-bound Brandon Jennings (eight ballots) -- a former Dominguez of Compton standout -- at Oak Hill Academy in Virginia.
South Atlanta's Derrick Favors ascended from eighth to fifth following his 32-point, 29-rebound performance against Campbell Hall, appearing on six ballots.
