HS BASE: Hart infielder commits to University of San Francisco

matern.jpgTrevor Matern, a three-year starting infielder for Hart of Newhall, has committed to a USF scholarship, picking the Dons over Westmont College, Loyola Marymount and Harvard.

He's the fourth Hart returnee to commit to a four-year college, following Mike Montgomery (Cal State Fullerton) and Bryan Lucas (Cal Poly Pomona) and Jenzen Torres (Cal Poly Pomona).
