HS FOOT: Antelope Valley's Sandfrey commits to NAIA university

| | Comments (0) |

Joey Sandfrey, an Antelope Valley offensive lineman, has committed to a full scholarship at Quincy University, an NAIA school in Illinois. He is slated to sign Wednesday.

"It's a full ride, so Joey won't have to pay for anything -- and it's a private school, so that's a heck of a lot of money," Antelope Valley coach Brett Pape said. "He is really excited. He's a real good high school football players but not a DI kid, so this gives him an opportunity to go somewhere and still play. it's kind of the best of both worlds."
