HS HOOPS: Guess who's been asked to judge a dunk contest next friday ...

| | Comments (0) |

julius.jpgWell, after talking about Dr. J this morning with the great Julius Erving's former New York Nets teammate, Brian Taylor -- Taylor is coaching View Park High in the City small schools final Saturday -- i was later invited to be a judge for a slam dunk contest at the first SCVTV all-star basketball game at Valencia High next Friday.

If any player can dunk from the free throw line, as Erving did in the '76 ABA all-star game (first slam dunk contest ever), then I will do all in my power to award him first prize.
