HS HOOPS: Harvard-Westlake down 18 at half vs. Mater Dei

hw 2.jpgNot looking good for upset-minded Harvard-Westlake. Mater Dei started a bit slowly -- problem was, so did Harvard-Westlake -- before reeling off a 16-2 in the second quarter to break open a close game.

Mater Dei appears to be just a bit too loaded -- more height, more rebounding, more blocked shots, more 3-pointers. More of just about everything. A 3-pointer by Mater Dei's David Wear made it 18 points at the half. That just seems like too much to overcome for the Wolverines against such a fundamentally sound opponent.
