HS HOOPS: Taft shooting for fifth final appearance

The Taft Toreadors, warming up for tonight's semifinal against Fremont at USC's Galen Center, are shooting for the school's fifth championship appearance.

Taft finished as the 3-A runner-up in 1979 and won the City 3-A title in 1980and finished as the 3-A runner-up in 1980, and it won the City Championship Division title in 2004 and finished as a Championship runner-up in 2006.
