HS HOOPS: Van Nuys up by 16 over North Hollywood at half

| | Comments (0) |

nh hoop.jpgThis thing is getting out of hand: Van Nuys is ahead 33-17 at the half, as the Huskies, shorthanded without key starter Julio Mejia (flu), must serious regroup.

Mejia is the second Sylmar starter to be stricken with the flu, the latest in a series of illnesses and absences for the Huskies.

"What's up the flu vaccinations? That's a good question," North Hollywood coach Rob Bloom said beforehand. "We will really need to pick up the slack."
