Wrestling: Six league champions for Royal

Royal's dominance of the Marmonte League continued at Saturday's league finals. After completing an undefeated run through league to secure a fifth consecutive Marmonte team title earlier in the week, the Highlanders had a school-record 11 finalists at the individual tournament. Fourteen of Royal's wrestlers qualified for the Southern Section meet.
Highlighting Royal's six champions were Mike Dumelle (140) and Aaron VanDriessche (160), who clinched their titles with pins.
Royal looks to ride that momentum into next weekend's Southern Section duals, where the Highlanders will be aiming for a third title in four years.
