HS FOOT: Taft's Kerstetter to coach all-star game
Taft head coach Matt Kerstetter has been named coach of the West in the annual East-West All-Star Game on June 15 at Birmingham High in Lake Balboa.
Not bad for a first-year coach.
Kerstetter, who coached Taft to the City Section quarterfinals, opposes Saugus coach Jason Bornn, who is manning the East.
Rosters will be released soon.
And, oh yeah, Ross Porter is MC-ing the event banquet. Good stuff.
