HS HOOPS: Taft readies for City Championship

styx_logo.jpgLatest stop on today's arena tour is the L.A. Sports Arena, where Taft plays Fairfax tonight at 8 for the City Championship.

The Taft boys are here, hanging out behind one of the baskets as Chatsworth and Narbonne compete for the City girls' title -- Chatsworth trailing 29-27 at the half -- and they seem relaxed and ready.

Good memories here at the Sports Arena for me. I remember seeing Styx in 1981, my first rock concert, during the "Paradise Theater" tour. Still love that band ....
