HS FOOT: Canyon standout suffers broken neck in car accident

| | Comments (0) |

Stephen Wirthlin, an All-Foothill League receiver/defensive back at Canyon, suffered a broken neck Friday when he lost control of his truck and rolled it twice.

The good news is Wirthlin is expected to make a full recovery, though it will take two years, he said.

"I'm pretty sore all over. The doctor said no sports for two years," Wirthlin said.
