HS FOOT: Let there be light at Grant

| | Comments (0) |

stadium_lights[1].jpgGrant plays under its new lights Friday against Bell, and kickoff has been pushed to 7:30 p.m. because Grant plans a special ceremony and a halftime fireworks show.

"We're encouraging everyone who ever has been associated with Grant - students, teachers, coaches - to come out," said Jeff Halpern, interim assistant principal. "I was from Grant's first graduating class in 1959, so I know all about how it took only 49 years to get some lights, and now I'm back. We're also going to have a fireworks display at halftime."
