HS FOOT: Taft hurting without top linebacker Bruce

Nick Bruce, Taft's standout linebacker who has a Fresno State scholarship offer, is not playing tonight against Westchester because of a high-ankle sprain.

Bruce might be back next week, Taft coach Matt Kerstetter said.

"Nick actually first hurt it in our scrimmage, then someone rolled on it in the Venice game," Kerstetter said.
