Boys Basketball: Granada Hills lower level teams winning big

| | Comments (0) |

Thought I would pass along this email from Rick Charls, an administrator at Granada Hills Charter High School.

Although I love his enthusiasm, the Highlanders have not really been able to parlay lower level success into varsity victories the past 10 or so years.

But you never when things can change. Here is the email with some slight editing.

Future Looks Bright For Granada Hills Basketball

The future looks bright for the Granada Hills Charter High School boys basketball team. Both the freshman and sophomore teams are currently undefeated this year. The freshman team has been extremely impressive averaging 80 points per game and winning by an average of 50 points, including a 92-14 win over Birmingham. Led by center Chris Johnson and guard Jabril Murphy, the freshman team beat the sophomore team (last years undefeated West Valley League champs) by 20 in a recent scrimmage.
