HS FOOT: Still no light ... but hope

| | Comments (0) |

OK, the latest here at Cerritos College in Norwalk, where the lights are not working -- which could mean the Notre Dame-Servite game would be canceled.

According to a Servite source, a crew of electricians are en route to troubleshoot the problem -- with no guarantee -- and hopefully someone will figure out a way to get the lights on because it is PITCH DARK out here -- and it's almost 8 p.m.

The talk is the teams would rather not play Saturday, but there is no confirmation on a alternate plan.

Even if the electricians can fix the problem, word is the game won't happen until at least 9 p.m. or later. If that's the case, I would prefer it be postponed until tomorrow -- at least we can get the result in the paper that way.

So for now, repeat after me: "Let there be light."
