| | Comments (0) |

Saugus brings its 12-0 record and Tri City tournament championship to the Kennedy La Palma tournament in Orange County on Saturday.
Saugus has Narbonne, Western of Anaheim, Mary Star of the Sea and Kennedy of La Palma, the host school, in its pool for the tournament.
Mary Star of the Sea is ranked ninth in the Southern Section Div. IV-AA poll.
Cypress, the eighth ranked team in Div. II-A, is entered in the tournament, as is Canyon of Anaheim. Even though Canyon of Anaheim has a losing record, Saugus coach Zack Ambrose considers the team one of the favorites to win the tournament.
Saugus is ranked 10th in Div. I-A and is coming off a win over Canyon of Canyon Country on Thursday to open Foothill League play.
