HS FOOT: Weather doesn't look so bad for Taft-San Fernando

| | Comments (1) |

There are a few puddles, a little mud and a on-and-off drizzle here at Taft High, where the Toreadors face San Fernando in the City quarterfinals in just in a few minutes, but it could be a lot worse.

There's a chance a storm could be coming -- the news said a thunderstorm is moving through L.A. County from the south to the north -- so let's hope it doesn't get too swampy because that's what will happen if the skies really open.

The winner meets San Pedro or Venice in the semifinals a week from Friday, and the championship game is Dec. 13 at 1 p.m. at the Coliseum.
