keegan.jpgWith 28 scholarship offers, it all came down to one Wednesday for Keegan Hornbuckle, as the 6-foot-6 forward from Campbell Hall signed with Colorado on the first day of the early signing period.

"I feel good now that I could finally make it official," Hornbuckle said. "I look forward to finishing out the high school season and going to Colorado next year. I just really like the team and the coaching staff.

Hornbuckle is the fifth Campbell Hall player over the past four years to sign with a D-I university.

"Keegan blew up and from a mid-major recruit to a high-major recruit," Campbell Hall coach Terry Kelly said. "He's one of the more athletic kids I've seen."

Keegan is the third Hornbuckle brother to sign a D-I scholarship, following Mike (Pepperdine) and Matt (Santa Clara. now at Moorpark JC), both of whom attended Oaks Christian.
