Boys Hoops: Cleveland takes third place

Cleveland of Reseda took third place at the Pasadena tournament in a 50-38 victory against host Pasadena.

The Cavaliers (3-1), who held Arroyo Valley to 12 points on Monday, turned in another strong performance.

Prince Obasi scored 18 points, Jason Johnson scored 12 points and Daghem Asfaw had 11 points for Cleveland.

Cleveland lost in the semifinals to Sylmar on Friday night. Cleveland will get another shot at Sylmar on January 24 in the War on the Floor Extravaganza at Santa Monica College.
