Girls Basketball: Bell-Jeff tournament update

The match-up everyone has been waiting for is finally here.

Bell-Jeff and Montclair Prep took care of business Monday night in semifinal victories against L.A.C.E.S. and Camarillo and now will meet for the championship of the Bell-Jeff Holiday Classic.

Both teams are ranked in the top five in the area and both are the top ranked teams in Division V-A.

The Guards feature Shelley Gupilan, Margeaux Gupilan, Julia Tani, Elizabeth Hawthorne and freshman Rishonda Napier.

The Mounties counter with Chantal Dooley, Stephanie Scammon, Kimberly Scammon, Lindsay Anderson and Alex Taylor.

8 p.m. start at Bell-Jeff High in Burbank. Don't miss it.
