Girls Hoops: Burroughs tournament update

Montclair Prep of Van Nuys is the biggest surprise of the early season.

The Mounties (8-0) have advanced to the semifinals of the Burroughs tournament on Friday night.

Montclair Prep held Valencia to two points in the fourth quarter Wednesday in a 55-40 victory.

On the other side of the bracket, Burroughs will play Los Osos of Rancho Cucamonga in a semifinal Thursday night.
