Valencia beat Saugus in overtime to win it's own tournament.

Lindsey Hill and Starla Wright led the way against Nicole Hicks and Gabby Conn.

El Camino Real of Woodland Hills beat Taft of Woodland Hills 47-42 for third-place.

Sierra Canyon made it to the finals of the St. Anthony tournament but lost to Chadwick of Palos Verdes 45-40 in the final.

Brenda Kramer, Kelly Schneider, Jasmine Sneed, Victoria Wells and Toni Ono have been leading the way for a very talented small-schools team.

Bell-Jeff of Burbank had a great week advancing all the way to the semifinals of the 32-team Inglewood tournament.

The Guards, who have been paced by Shelley Gupilan, Margeaux Gupilan, Julia Tani and freshman Rishonda Napier, beat Chatsworth and Marlborough going 4-1 on the week.

Chatsworth and Marlborough each featured Cal-bound forwards in Gennifer Brandon and Talia Caldwell respectively.

Montclair Prep of Van Nuys made a big statement this past week winning the Crescenta Valley tournament.

The Mounties beat Sylmar, Notre Dame, Thousand Oaks and Oaks Christian.

Sisters Kimberly Scamman and Stephanie Scamman have been quite a duo along with Chantal Dooley.

The Mounties will next partake in the Burroughs of Burbank tournament.
