| | Comments (0) |

Some good news to report from the Calabasas High girls' soccer program this afternoon, where the Daily News has learned that Coyotes junior goalkeeper Gabby Kaufman has given a verbal commitment to play at Texas Tech.

Kaufman was a captain on the Team USA squad that captured the gold medal at the Pan American Maccabi Games in Buenos Aires, Argentina, last December. She was also named Los Angeles Maccabi Athlete of the Year.

Kaufman, a member of Laguna Hills Eclipse under-17 premier roster, also trains with Steve Sampson at Global Sports Institute Soccer Academy, which is based in Camarillo.
