HS HOOPS: Campbell Hall off to rockin' start

The AJ era has official begun at Campbell Hall -- After Jrue.

The defending D4 state-champion Vikings defeated visiting Antelope Valley 94-38 late Tuesday in the season opener, as James Johnson scored 24 points with 12 rebounds, Keegan Hornbuckle added 19 points (four 3-pointers) and Austin McBroom chipped in 11 points and seven assists.

Campbell Hall is hosting a tournament that continues today with the Vikings facing Hoover of Glendale. Tipoff is 7:30 p.m.
