Best in the Valley Wrestling Tournament this weekend

So mark your calendars for this weekend if you're a wrestling fan. The Best in the Valley Tournament at Chaminade on Saturday is going to feature some strong teams and individuals.

Tentatively scheduled to come so far is Jonathan Urango of Camarillo; Benito Mendez, Lorenzo Chapman, Rashaad Reynolds and Mike Le of San Fernando; Craig Seidenglanz, Adam Moreno and Bobby Medina of Chaminade; Joseph Liu of Granada Hills; Gary and Anthony Espinosa and Akeem Gonzales of Alemany and other local teams Chatsworth, Sylmar as well as out of the area teams Whitter Christian, St. Margaret's, South Torrance, San Marino and Brentwood, among others.

More news and photos coming. Look for a few of the local guys to place one or two in their weights, including Seidenglanz and Moreno, Le, Chapman, Reynolds, Mendez, Urango, Gary Espinosa and maybe Liu.


The tournament lasts all day, with weigh-ins starting at 7am.
