Baseball: Notre Dame update from Wed.

Notre Dame (5-1) traveled to Inglewood and Morningside High for a single game on Wednesday afternoon, coming away with an 8-0 victory. Senior right hander Josh Goossen-Brown (2-1) pitched a complete game for the shut out victory, behind 9 Knight hits, and one error. Goossen-Brown managed 5 strikeouts, giving up 5 hits, and no walks. Five of the Nine Knight hits were extra bases, two doubles (Walbridge & Aldape) two triples (Lowe & Dohs) and a two run homer (Reigel). For Morningside Southpaw Johnny Davila also pitched a complete game, using 130 pitches in a losing effort. The Monarchs scattered five singles in support of Davila. Notre Dame will play a double header at Canyon on Saturday, March 21st, first game at 10am.
