High School Lacrosse - photos from Saturday's game

| | Comments (1) |

The high school lacrosse season has started. The sport has gained popularity over the last several years and now includes teams in the San Fernando Valley.

Chaminade has had a team for several years now as do Crespi, Harvard-Westlake, Loyola, Brentwood - which compile the Mission League competitors.

Last year, Chaminade won the Mission League in lacrosse while Crespi came in second. They played for the first time this season on Saturday, with Chaminade winning 5-3. Anthony Daniels (Chaminade #6) had three goals for the Eagles and Ben Mahony added two during the game that saw Crespi come back to tie it at three in the third period, after being down 3-1 at halftime.

Here are some photos from Saturday's action.

No mention of the season ending injury Celt #30 suffered at the hands of an agressive Chaminade defenseman within the first 5 minutes? Were you at the same game as me?
