late lacrosse score from tonight

The box score came in slightly too late to make the paper, but Oaks Christian beat Malibu 10-6 in the first Condor League game of the season for both teams.

Kyle Stannich had five goals for the Lions - now 2-2, 1-0 in league - while Robbie Thomson had three and Brennan Munro and Michael Cerios each scored once.

Giorgio Valenzuela had 17 saves
for the Lions, who play at Mission Viejo on Friday night at 6:30pm.

The Condor League consists of Oaks Christian, Malibu, CATE and Thacher while the Mission League lacrosse teams are Chaminade, Crespi, Harvard-Westlake, Brentwood and Loyola (Windward used to be a part of that league, but their program dissolved between last year and this year)

Thursday night action includes Chaminade at home against Culver City at 6:30. Harvard-Westlake plays at Beverly Hills on Saturday at 1pm.
