Benito Mendez of San Fernando lost (his first loss of the tournament)
Edward Ruiz of Royal lost his first match
Mike Le of San Fernando lost his second match, now he is 1-1
Saul Garcia of Moorpark won his first match, in the second round.
Matt Hickman of Camarillo won his first match of the day (in the second round)
Brandon Stotomayor of Granada Hills lost his first match of the day - in the second round.
Mike Dumelle won his first match, but lost his second - now he is 1-1.
Isac Lazarovits of El Camino Real lost his first match, in the second round
Sergio Cortez of Royal had a bye and advances
John Combs won his second match of the day but now faces Chris Urquizo of Merced - who is NATIONALLY ranked.
Jonathan Urango of Camarillo won 20-4 - his second win of the day.
Michael Rojas of Sylmar lost his first match.
Combs has a tough road ahead, having to beat two state-ranked guys to get to the Finals. If he can get by Urquizo, he then has to face Tigran Adzhemyan of Calvary Chapel - who beat him and Sergio Cortez to win the Masters.
