Up-to-Date Wrestling results from State

Two early losses and the wrestler is out and goes home. Here are where the local guys are as of now.

Adam Ali, ECR - out

Craig Seidenglanz (Chaminade), Behdod Katebian (TO), Eddie Ruiz (Royal) and Benito Mendez (San Fernando) - all two losses at 119 pounds - all out (the only one of the four to win at all was Seidenglanz, who won one match between his two losses)

Saul Garcia (125) Moorpark - has one loss and is still in at this point

Gary Espinosa (130) Alemany - lost his first match, then won one. Still in.

Emerson Jimenez (135) Reseda - lost one, but still in

Matt Hickman (140) - Camarillo - has one loss so far

Brandon Stotomayor (Granada Hills) - also at 140 and also has one loss

Mike Dumelle (Royal) and Isac Lazarovits (ECR) - both at 145 and both are out.

John Combs (Agoura) and Sergio Cortez (Royal) have one loss each at 152 - they are now in the consolation bracket.
Whereas, Sergio Perez from Birmingham (also at 152) lost his first two and is now out

Jonathan Urango of Camarillo is the only local guy who is advancing and who hasn't lost one match yet. He's in the quarterfinals of the championship bracket. He is already guaranteed to win a medal of some sort.

Josh Dulaney (160) of Granada Hills - out

Michael Rojas (171) of Sylmar is out

Johnny Fernandez (215) of Birmingham is out

Luis Favela (hvwt) of Littlerock is also out.
