Boys Basketball: Taft's Williams commits

Taft guard Michael Williams ended weeks of speculation and announced he will attend San francisco next year.

Williams averaged 18.7 points and 4.1 assists in leading the Toreadors (27-5) to the City Section championship game and the semifinals fo the state southern regional at King of Riverside.

Williams played his best in Taft's biggest games scoring 32 points against Westchester of Los Angeles, more than McClymonds of Oakland scored as a team (31) in the Division I state championship.

Williams had offers from Cal St. fullerton, Cal St. Northridge, New Mexico St., UC Santa Barbara and others
