Sat 5/2/9 ... Notre Dame of Sherman Oaks won three games in the last 24
hours.

On Friday afternoon they defeated Chaminade 6-5 in 8 innings. The team
pitched by committee, using four arms to get the job done. Matt Lathuras
started and went 2.1. Conner Garelick pitched 3.1 scoreless innings (but
left with an injury), Nico Silardi went 2.2 scoreless and Josh Goossen-Brown
closed the 8th to capture the win. When relieved in the 8th Silardi moved
back to Center Field and made a great inning ending catch out there to
preserve the tie, allowing the Knights to win it in the bottom of the frame.

Chamindaes Left Fielder Tim Rowley hit a 3 run home run in the second
inning. Mat Troupe pitched the 8th for the Eagles and suffered the loss.

Kelly Dugan was 2-4 on the day, including a solo home run (his 5th) and a
single with bases loaded in the 8th for the walk off win. He scored twice
and put up 2 RBI's. Josh Goossen-Brown had a run scoring double and scored
twice, including a delayed steal of home in the second.

Pedro Aldape pitched a complete controlled game in the first of two with
West Covina today (8 Hits, 7 K's, 1 BB) winning 9-5. David Armendariz led
the way at the plate going 3 for 3 (+ BB), just a home run shy of the cycle
(single, double, triple). He also scored twice (1 RBI). Brendan Dohs, Peyton
Milone and Kelly Dugan had two RBI's each.

David Armendariz, Torin Westfall and Greg Restivo combined efforts on the
mound in the second game for the 8-2 Knights win. Eric Walbridge provided
the fireworks from the DH spot. He was 3 for 4, including a two run homer
and a double creating 4 RBI's. Nick Reyes reached in all four at bats going
3 for 3 with a walk on the day.

Knights are 19-4 Overall and 7-1 in Mission League. Next up is St. Francis
on Tuesday afternoon at Brookside Park in Pasadena.
