Boys Basketball: Monroe offers coaching position to Halic

Monroe of North Hills offered its coaching position to Chaminade of West Hills assistant coach Nick Halic.

Halic is expected to accept the position on Friday.

Halic helped lead Chaminade to a surprising run to the Div. IV-A championship game this past season working under Todd Wolfson.

Halic, 26, coached the J.V. team and graduated from Birminfham of Lake Balboa in 2001.
